BOSS Talk unites entrepreneurial women through stories about their experiences - the good, the bad and the real. Far too often, we only see the highlight reels of entrepreneurship so during this podcast we dive into those candid conversations that aren’t typically featured on social media platforms - especially those moments that haven’t quite hit the mark as planned. BOSS Talk will both challenge and motivate you to build the life and business you want by battling overwhelm with systems and self-care. If you’re listening and find yourself overwhelmed in your business right now, head over to lavistajones.com and schedule a connection call today.

In this episode Erica shares how the limitations of perfectionism almost caused her failure to launch. Listen to her #bossformation of leveraging systems to escape busyness in order to walk in her purpose.  More about Erica: she is a Health & Childbirth Educator with over 10 years of experience in public health. She has worked in various capacities creating partnerships with educational institutions, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Whether facilitating training or designing resources, Erica has found her niche in the ability to create and deliver meaningful content. In addition to working with organizations, Erica loves helping parents prepare for birth-day.  She believes childbirth is a sacred experience and that every parent should be given evidence-based information that supports their birth preferences. Given her own birth and breastfeeding experience, she has a special place in her heart for parents who have experienced a traumatic birth and those who exclusively pump.

Erica obtained a Master of Public Health degree from Grand Canyon University and a Certificate in Nutrition from Central Arizona College. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator (CCCE). In addition, she works with the Arizona Women, Infants and Children program (WIC) as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. Erica is also studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is an Arizona native and currently lives in Phoenix with her husband and son.
